Boxy Bag Sewing Pattern

The Boxy Bag is a neat, structured zip bag available in three sizes. It has a zip across the top, a loop tab at each end, and boxed corners that help it stand up on its own. The corners are finished with French seams, so there are no raw edges visible inside.

Pattern features:

• Three sizes: Small, Medium and Large
• Zip-top closure
• Loop tabs at each end
• French seam corners for a clean enclosed finish
• Optional quilting for extra structure
• ½ in (1.25 cm) seam allowance included throughout

Finished sizes:

• Small: about 6 ¾ × 5 ¼ × 2 ¼ in (17 × 13.5 × 5.5 cm)
• Medium: about 9 × 7 × 3 in (23 × 18 × 7.5 cm)
• Large: about 11 ¼ × 8 ¾ × 3 ¾ in (28.5 × 22 × 9.5 cm)

What you will need: outer fabric, inner fabric, wadding or fleece, a zip, thread, clips, scissors or rotary cutter, a ruler, fabric marker or chalk, an iron, a sewing machine and a zip foot.
