Research & Writing
My research explores inclusive pedagogy, neurodiversity, belonging, widening participation and creative education.
ExploreMy work brings together design, making, research, culture and inclusive creative learning.

I am a multidisciplinary artist, fashion designer, pattern maker, creative educator and consultant, with almost 30 years of experience across the fashion industry, creative practice and education. My work brings together technical knowledge, cultural storytelling, creative exploration and a deeply human approach to designing, making, teaching and learning.
I work through my overall practice to explore the power of creativity to help people make, learn, belong and be seen.

My academic and creative practice explores inclusive pedagogy, neurodiversity, widening participation and a pedagogy of care within fashion and creative education. Drawing on experience as a designer, lecturer, programme leader and community practitioner, I use creative learning as a tool for education to become more inclusive, relational and meaningful.

My Atelier is where my craft, heritage and experience meet your story.
I work exclusively on bridal and occasionwear, and specialise in bridal alterations.
I also support designers and creative brands with design development, pattern making and creative direction, bringing years of fashion-industry knowledge and technical expertise to every project.
Every commission begins with a story.
Designed to be simple, clear and easy to follow, my sewing patterns use bold, carefully considered lines without confusing overlaps, making them easy to use even if you are sewing for the first time. Patterns are generally available in A4 print-at-home, A0 and projector formats, with selected designs also available as printed paper patterns.
New patterns are released regularly, with fresh designs added each month.
