Sammy Elasticated Trousers

The Sammy Trousers is a relaxed one-piece trousers designed to be easy to wear, comfortable and straightforward to sew. They have a loose, wide-leg shape with an elasticated waist, making them a really useful everyday trouser that can be made again and again in different fabrics.

The pattern uses a one-piece trouser construction, with the front and back combined into one continuous pattern piece. You simply cut two mirrored pieces, which keeps the construction simple and reduces the number of seams.

I designed this pattern to give you a relaxed silhouette with plenty of movement through the leg, while still keeping the overall shape clean and wearable.

The pattern also includes different finished length options, so you can choose the length that works best for you rather than having to adjust the pattern afterwards.
