Tito Waterfall Jacket Sewing Pattern

This is a relaxed waterfall jacket designed to be simple to wear, easy to style and lovely to sew. It has a soft open front, long sleeves and a clean shape that allows the waterfall front to fall naturally without feeling too heavy or overdone.

The pattern comes with two length options. The shorter version finishes just below the waist at the back, while the longer version finishes around the hip. In both versions, the waterfall front falls slightly longer than the back, giving the jacket its soft draped shape.

I designed this pattern as an easy layering piece that can work across different seasons. It looks particularly good in stable stretch fabrics such as ponte, where the fabric has enough structure to hold the shape while still giving comfortable movement.

The pattern includes three main pieces: the front, back and sleeve, making it a really simple project without lots of complicated pattern pieces.

Seam allowance: ½ inch (1.25 cm) included throughout

When using a stretch fabric, position the fabric so that the direction with the greatest stretch runs across the body.
